This section contains a hodgepodge of Pressly documentation from Pre-Revolutionary War Times to the recent past. Ladies of the family remember all the Pressly documentation, including these. With the information on the Presslys contained in this website the family ladies could qualify for membership in the DAR, Daughters of the American Revolution. This is arguably one of the most exclusive organizations in the country. Membership has nothing to do with money - you must be born to it by your lineage provably dating to pre-revolutionary times with required proof of family having fought on the American side during the War of Independence.
